Safari 5 is Blazing Fast

Earlier this month, we discussed the popular Web browser Chrome. This week, we will review another new browser, Safari 5.

Safari 5 delivers web pages at greater speeds than before. It works on the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Mac and PC. It displays your favorite websites at a glance and checks your spelling and grammar.

Some additional features of Safari 5 include:

Safari Reader removes ads and other visual distractions from online articles
More than a dozen new HTML5 support features including full screen video and Geolocation
New JavaScript engine which is 2x faster than Safari 4
A smarter address field, tab setting, hardware acceleration for Windows and improved Web inspector
